Faculty Achievement Awards Committee
The Faculty Achievement Awards Committee is responsible for proposing
guidelines and procedures and selecting recipients of the faculty awards for
teaching, research, and service. The committee reports to the Vice Chancellor
for Academic Affairs and Research.
Membership consists of a faculty member from each college, one department
chair, one dean, and one community representative. These appointments are made
on an annual basis by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research in
consultation with colleges. The Student Government Association will appoint one
undergraduate and the Graduate Student Council will appoint one graduate student
to serve on this committee each year. The committee elects a chair at
the beginning of each academic year.
